Robert Mac Cable, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Little Mac" Cable Jr., who left us too soon on June 12, 2025. Born on June 15, 1996, in North Carolina, Robert grew up in Kings Mountain, where he built a life full of vibrant friendships and unforgettable memories.

A talented tattoo artist, Mac found his creative home at Simply Hair Bar in Shelby, NC, where he expressed his unique artistry. He began his journey in the tattoo world at S'moore Ink in Dallas, NC, showcasing his incredible skills and passion for ink. Beyond his work, Mac was known for his love of motorcycles, always eager to hit the open road and experience the thrill of the ride. He graduated from Bessemer City High School and attended Gaston College before beginning his tattoo career.

Mac was a devoted son, survived by his father, Robert "Mac" Cable Sr., and his mother, Cheryl Moody. He also cherished his friends and the special bond he shared with his boys, Kellin Cable and Sailor Cable, who were a huge part of his life. He is also survived by his sister, Jennifer Davis, brother, Todd Davis, Jr., aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. His warmth, creativity, and adventurous spirit will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Mac's life will be held 5:00 pm on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, officiated by Jeffery Lynn. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. We invite everyone to come together to honor his memory, share stories, and continue to celebrate the spirit of a truly remarkable person.
