Robert Mark Brown

Robert Mark Brown, 59, of Gastonia, passed away peacefully at his home on July 7, 2024.

He was born in Gaston County, NC on January 29, 1965, to Robert Eugene Brown and to the late Vivian Diane Brown.

Robert was a huge Carolina Panther and Carolina Tarheel fan. Robert also loved cars. He especially loved building model cars.

In addition to his mother, Robert was preceded in death by his grandmother, Polly Glover; uncles, Jerry Swink and Bill Brown; and cousin Gene Swink.

Robert is survived by his wife of 37 years, Annette Brown; daughter Rio Brown (Michael); sister, Chrissy Fowler (Jason); three grandchildren, Noah Brakefield, Hailey Brakefield, and Alexander Hoyle; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, numerous close cousins, and many close friends.

A service to celebrate Robert's life will be announced at a later date.
