Robert David Bratton

Robert David Bratton, 69, of Gastonia, passed away September 2, 2015 at his residence. He was born, June 7, 1946 in York, SC, the son of the late Preston Edward Bratton and Ruth S. Bratton. Robert enjoyed exercising and had a passion for walking. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Robert David Bratton, Jr.; daughters, Tammy Michelle Brittain, Frances Leona Shull, Christa Lynn Buff; grandchildren, Summer, Wesley and Spring Brittain; great-grandchildren, Hunter Wright, Morgan Gilbert, Zaylee Howze, Jackson Brittain and Kayson Ascosts and brother, Charles Bratton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna Bolin, Jacqueline Falls, Betty Rayfield, Lois Westmoreland and Mary Biggers. All services will be private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
