Robert L. Barker (1942-2017)

Born in Somerville, N.J. Bob lived his whole life in New Jersey till the time he retired to N.C. in 2003. He was a school bus driver for Bernards TWP Board of Education. Bob was a member of the Somerset Hills Elks club and a lifetime member of the NRA.

He is survived by his loving wife Margaret (Peggy) Barker of Gastonia and three stepchildren Kathy Schimmel of Allamuchy NJ, David Goetchius of Wake Forest, NC, and Nancy Ormand of Bessemer City, 4 step grandchildren and his brother Richard Barker of North Branch NJ.

Graveside service will be held Saturday March 11 at 1pm at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
