Robert "Bobby" Allan Huggins
February 23, 1950 — August 8, 2018
Robert "Bobby" Allan Huggins, 68, of Belmont, passed away on August 8, 2018, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.
He was born February 23, 1950, in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Albert and Virginia Huggins.
Mr. Huggins was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church of Gastonia. He attended the Brotherhood Ministry and was a member of the Sunday School class at the church.
"Bobby" was a US Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
A funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Sandy Plains Baptist Church, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor David Keuss.
The family will receive friends 6 -8 pm Friday, August 10, 2018, at Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd. Gastonia.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont, with military honors provided by US Army and the Gaston County Honor Guard.
"Bobby" is survived by his daughter, Amy Hannon and husband Mike; grandchild, Triston Hannon; sister, Carolyn Martin.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Sandy Plains Baptist Church (Building Fund) 5323 Union Rd. Gastonia, NC 28056.
