Rita Faye Ledford

It is with heartfelt sadness that we share the news of Rita Faye Ledford, who passed away on October 23, 2025, in Gastonia, North Carolina. Born on July 23, 1962, Rita brightened the lives of those around her with her unique spirit and love for the simple pleasures in life.

Rita was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arnold and Mildred Allen Ledford, and her siblings Roy Lee Ledford, Bennie Ray Ledford, Brenda Ann Ledford, and Vickie Lynn Harris. She is survived by her loving sister, Evelyn Ledford, who will forever cherish their bond; and her adoring boyfriend, Charlie.

In her younger days, Rita found joy in creating pottery and had a knack for solving puzzle games. She loved spending weekends exploring thrift stores and tended to her flower garden with great care. Rita had a particular fondness for cats, and her furry friends were always a source of comfort and companionship.

While Rita may no longer be with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
