Rita Carpenter Hope

Rita Carpenter Hope, 57, passed away Thursday November 3, 2016 at her residence.  She was born March 10, 1959 in Gaston County and was the daughter of the late Melvin and Mary Ann Carpenter.  Rita had the soul of a child and the heart of an angel.  She was a loving wife and adored her family and fur babies.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium 1503 S York Rd. Gastonia.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of over 20 years, Mike Hope, step-children; Joshua and Brandi Hope, brother; Keith Carpenter, sisters; Janet Hensley and Cathy Carpenter, nephews; Travis Hensley and Scott Carpenter, great nephew; Ashten Carpenter, great niece; Ashlyn Carpenter.
