Rita Correll

Rita Correll, 65, of Gastonia passed away on January 20, 2019 at her home.
She was born December 24, 1953, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Frank John Correll and Flonnie Cash.
Rita was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt who will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., officiated by Pastor Leo Kuykendall.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday, January 24, 2019, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
Rita is survived by son, Eddie Dwayne Hallman; daughters, Misty Phillips and husband, Gregory, Sharon Hallman and husband, Jody; grandchildren, Amanda Brooke and husband, Eric, Kyle Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Alec Hallman, Lee Hallman, Cory Hallman, Brody Hallman, Braylee Hallman; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Correll, Alvin Correll; sister, Sally Correll; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister, Jean Cantrell; brothers, Roy, Paul and Sid Correll.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
