Rita May Brown, 84, of Hickory Grove, SC, passed away November 6, 2020 at Pruitt Health in Rock Hill, SC.
She was born October 30, 1936 in Bristol County, Massachusetts to the late John Russo and Minerva Mello Russo.
In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Brown.
Rita is survived by a son, Charles Brown and wife Kathi; daughters, Carey and husband Scott and Sandra and husband Paul; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
