Ricky Dale Pressley

Ricky Dale Pressley, 62, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away March 30, 2022, peacefully at his home.

He was born July 20, 1959, in Gaston County, NC to the late Mary Moody Layel and Grady Spencer Pressley.

Ricky was an avid fisherman and a gifted craftsman.  Ricky was a very outgoing person and loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends. His beaming smile and personality will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jerry Layel; and stepmother, Faye Pressley.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Pressley; brother, Daryl Pressley; sisters, Darlene Garant (Don) and Deborah Wright (David); a niece; and several nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Lincoln County, 900 Donita Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
