Ricky Lemmons

Ricky Lemmons, 61, of Gastonia, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2017, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born April 19, 1956 in Gaston County, NC.

Ricky was a very loving soul and was precious to his family. He was very much loved, and he and his smile will be deeply missed by those who loved him. He was fond of watching old movies and NASCAR. He loved Batman and enjoyed talking about football.

Left to cherish his memories are his parents Gordon and Joann Lemmons; sister, Barbara Walker and husband Howard; special nieces, Kelly Lawniczak and husband Ben, Holly Walker; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grand-parents, John and Irene Lemmons, Paul and Ruby Hines; and uncles, Paul and Bobby Hines.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Rev. Bill Mauney.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 251 Olney Church Rd, Gastonia, NC 28056.
