Rickey Lee Hill Sr.

Rickey Lee Hill Sr., 75, of Bessemer City, passed away August 22, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 18, 1943 a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Marshall Lee Hill and Mabel Beach Hill.
Rickey was a member of First Assembly of God in Gastonia. He was also a member of Oasis Shriners and King Solomon Masonic Lodge #704 AF and AM. He retired from CaroMont Regional Medical Center after 18 years of service and was a former part-time staff member at Greene Funeral Service.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 19 years, Kay Todd Hill; sons, Rickey Hill Jr. and spouse, Sherry Ammons Hill; Ronnie Dean Hill and spouse Lisa Wentz Hill, and Les Waller; daughters, Stacey Price and spouse Todd and Kiley Bledsoe and spouse Greg; grandchildren, Lee Holcombe, Jessie Hill, Tyler Hill, Carson Waller, Taylor Bumgarner, McKayla Price, Alyssa Smith and Ava Bledsoe; sister, Rita Hill Short and spouse, Joe and special aunt, Betty Martin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Loletta Hill.
A funeral service, officiated by Pastors Dennis Boyce and Lamar Creel, will be held 2 pm, Sunday August 26th at First Assembly of God, 777 S. Myrtle School Road, Gastonia.
The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service- South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
