Rickey Fred Dellinger

Rickey Fred Dellinger, 68, of Dallas, NC, passed away, Tuesday January 3, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, with many broken hearts left behind. He was born March 21, 1954, in Catawba County and was the son of the late Jesse and Wilma Dellinger.

Rick was a loving son, brother, dad, husband, granddad, and friend to all.    Rick was a veteran and had retired from Hoist Crane Service Group. He worked for Productive Tool, Dallas.  Rick will be known for his yard work and getting yard of the month.  He touched many hearts and will be missed, but we're at peace knowing he is with his Savior.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Sabina Hovis Dellinger; son, Ricky Deon Dellinger; stepson, Michael Shane Schronce (Ashley); grandchildren, Kazai (Lulu), and Madison, Kylee, Dylan, Darian; sisters, Norma Leigh (Todd), Diann Ward, and Karen Blankenship (Steve); aunt, Lois Starnes; daughter in-law, Ashley; sisters in-law, Candy Hovis and Shelia Bare; dear friend Susan Hartsoe; nieces and nephews.

Rick was preceded in death by his stepson, Travis Caskey; brother, Donald Dellinger.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, January 9, 2023, at Sunrise Baptist Church 208 Mail Rd. Kings Mountain, NC, with Rev. Dennis Harmon officiating.
