Rick Maynard Tesseneer

Rick Maynard Tesseneer, 57, of Shelby, passed away on November 7, 2019, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, NC.
He was born December 23, 1961, in Cleveland County, son of Maynard Tesseneer and the late Joyce Ashley Tesseneer.
Rick was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Cherryville. He loved to play golf and was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 3357 Fallston Waco Rd. Cherryville, officiated by Pastor Terry Huffman, Pastor Barry Philbeck, Pastor Bill Jones.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
In addition to his father and stepmother, Maynard Tesseneer and wife, Dot , Rick is survived by loving wife of 28 years, Berdie Ledford Tesseneer; son, Tearle Tesseneer; stepsons, Jason and Jeffrey Jones; sister, Karen Macomson; grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Dezi Timer, Rachel Jones; great-grandchild, Taylor Jones; nephew, Brandon Mull.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
