Rick Posey

Rick Posey, 57, of Gastonia, passed away November 30, 2012 at his home. He was born November 14, 1955 in Gaston County, son of Billy Posey and the late Francis Hinson Posey. A memorial service will be held 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at First Assembly of God in Clover, SC officiated by Pastors Michael Pittman and Daniel Haskett. The family will receive friends after the service. A second receiving of friends will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday at Salem Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Lincolnton. Interment is private. Mr. Posey attended First Assembly of God in Clover and in the VFW- Absher Flower Post 9337. He was a loving husband, best friend, great father, and grandfather. He is survived by: his wife of 7 ½ years, Lisa Combs Posey; sons, Terry Posey and spouse Jennifer of Lincolnton, Brandon Posey and spouse Angel of Lincolnton, Shane Lemmons and spouse Amber of Clover; brothers, Eddie Payne and spouse Patricia of Kings Mountain; sisters, Becky Faile and spouse Jeff of Gastonia, Nadene Carter and spouse Steve of Winston Salem; grandchild, Payton Lemmons. Memorials may be held to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
