Richard Allen Williams

Richard Allen Williams, 60, of Kings Mountain passed away on April 26, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Center, Shelby. He was born May 16, 1952 son of Joyce Brannon Williams and the late Robert Royal Williams. Mr. Williams was a native of Wake County, NC. He worked for Carson Machine Shop with over 30 years of service. Richard loved hunting with his son and going to car shows. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Rev. Preston Davis. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. In addition to his mother Mr. Williams is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Gloria Stalcup Williams; son, Cliff Williams; sisters, Robin Williams and Fiance David Decker, Linda Sandbo and husband Dwayne.
