Richard "Ricky" Vickers, 37, of Clover, passed away March 13, 2018.
He was born January 13, 1981 in Gaston County, son of Barbara Morrow and the late Johnny Lee Vickers Jr.
Ricky greatly loved his family and was a giving soul who was devoted to them. He had a powerful love for the Lord.
Left to cherish his memories along with his mother are his daughter Caitlyn Vickers; son Ethan Richard Vickers; siblings Johnny Lee Vickers III and wife Lynn, Margaret Christmas, Virginia Vickers, Beverly Vickers and husband Ken Nicholson, Kim Miller, Steven Morrow and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father Steve Morrow and brother William "Billy" Vickers.
The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. ork Rd., Gastonia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital – 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 – www.stjude.org
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
