Richard Allan Milliron, 87, of Bessemer City, passed away February 12, 2024, at his home.
He was born September 11, 1936, in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, son of the late Elvin Kenneth Milliron and Hazel Peters Zuk.
Richard retired from Hercules Inc. in Kenvil, New Jersey and from Holiday Inn Express in Kings Mountain.
He was an avid John Wayne fan and he enjoyed tinkering around in his spare time.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 17, 2024, at First United Methodist Church 110 West Alabama Avenue Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Tripp Hord.
The family will receive friends after the service.
Richard is survived by his sons, Richard Milliron (Liesa), Mark Milliron (Tracy); daughters, Brenda Harris, Debra Brewer (Marvin); seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Milliron; daughter, Sandra Davieau; brothers, Robert Milliron, Donald Milliron; sisters, Helene Faltisco, Caroline Campbell.
