Richard Anthony Lazenby

Gastonia, NC Richard Anthony "Dickie" Lazenby, 72, passed away September 10, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 15, 1939 in Gaston County, son of the late, William Kenneth Lazenby and Ethel Payseur. Mr. Lazenby was a member of Crowders Mountain Baptist Church, where he played the bass and acoustic guitars. A lover of music, Lazenby shared much of his time with his wife Deborah, listening to his favorite bluegrass and southern gospel artists. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Thursday at Crowders Mountain Baptist Church, 125 Mayberry Lane, Kings Mountain. He is survived by: his wife, Deborah Hall Lazenby; stepson, Davey Goble and wife, Leah Goble; stepdaughter, Michelle Goble; grandchildren, Noah and Elijah Goble; brother, Larry Lazenby; sister and brother in-law, Myrna and Curtis Boyter; brother and sister in-law, Michael and Terry Lazenby; numerous nieces and nephews.
