Richard "Ricky" Flowers

August 1, 1958 — April 30, 2021

Richard "Ricky" Flowers, 62, of Kings Mountain passed away April 30, 2021 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

A Gaston County native, he was born August 1, 1958, son of Geraldine Moore of Kings Mountain and the late Calvin Flowers from Stockbridge, GA.

Left to cherish his memories, in addition to his mother, are his children, Richard McCaskill of Conover, Brandon Flowers of Dallas, and Jennifer Flowers of Kings Mountain; sisters, Judy Tomberlin of Gastonia, Kathy Tomberlin of Kings Mountain, Tammy Crawford of Kings Mountain, Rhonda Moore of Kings Mountain, and Nancy Wallace of Locust Grove, Georgia; nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Friday, May 7 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Speakers officiating the service will be Randy and Jeffrey Tomberlin.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
