Richard Armstrong

Richard Shepherd Armstrong, 77, of Clover, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at his residence.

He was born on December 20, 1943, in Gaston County, to the late Ralph and Mabel Shepherd Armstrong.

Richard was a member of Crowders Mountain Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. He was extremely passionate about fishing, golfing, and gardening.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by brothers, Woodrow, and Donald Armstrong.

Left to cherish Richard's memories are his loving wife of over 56 years, Elizabeth C. Armstrong; sons, Bryant Armstrong and girlfriend Dawn Sims and Kenneth Daniel Armstrong; sister, Linda Deal (Bill); and grandchildren, Stephanie, and Logan Armstrong.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Crowders Mtn Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crowders Mountain Baptist Church – 125 Mayberry Ln, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
