Rhonda "Kay" Walker

Rhonda "Kay" Walker, 54, of Gastonia, passed away May 6, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born January 13, 1961 a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Meeler. Rhonda was a precious wife, loving mother, awesome granny and an amazing sister, but above all she loved the Lord. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Keith Walker; children, Heather and Rodney Gilliam, Jody and Becky Walker, Chris and Stacy Walker, Chad Walker, Justin and Brittany Walker; grandchildren, Bradley and Chelsey Gilliam, Tyler Gilliam and Alexis Webb, Destiny Walker and Maverick Canipe, Dynasty Walker, Miranda Walker, Elijah Walker, Baileigh Walker; great-grandchild, Tanner Gilliam; sisters, Roxanne Meeler and Darlene Anderson and brothers, Ronnie Meeler and Toby Meeler. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Saturday at One Accord Independent - 115 W. Ridge Street, Gastonia, officiated by the Pastor Keith Walker. The family will receive friends 2 - 3 pm Saturday at the church. Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to One Accord Independent - Care of Pastor Keith Walker 4209 Glenbriar Drive, Gastonia, NC 28056 (Not Church Address). Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
