Rhonda "Angie" Gossett West

Rhonda Angela Gossett West, 48, of Gastonia, passed away January 27, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born September 2, 1966 a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Thomas James and Sara Chitwood Gossett. Rhonda attended Living Hope Baptist Church in Gastonia. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Jeffrey Lee West; son, Jordan West; daughter, Lacey West; brothers, Wayne Davis and wife, Barbara, Nathan Davis and wife, Sheila, Tommy Gossett and wife, Theresa, Jeff Gossett and wife, Lisa, Joey Gossett and wife, Teresa; sisters, Nancy Palmer and husband, Jerry, Regina Ford and husband, Morrison, Mahoda Davis, Marquita Redlinger and husband, Jon; grandchildren David Medlin and Austin and Micah West; a number of nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Mitchell West and sister-in-law, Tammy West Wise. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Medlin; sister, Dorinda McGinnis and mother and father-in-law, Wayne and Mary West. A memorial service will be held 1 pm Friday at Living Hope Baptist Church, 609 Osceola Street, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Danny Gardner. The family will receive friends 11:30 - 12:30 pm on Friday at the church. Interment will be private.
