Regenia Andrews Mathis

Regenia Andrews Mathis, 64, of Cherryville, passed away on May 20, 2021, at Atrium Health in Lincolnton.

She was born March 25, 1957, in Gaston County, daughter of Shirley Andrews and the late John T. Andrews.

Regenia was of the Baptist faith. She loved to spend time with her family.

She loved doing puzzle books and games on her tablet and phone.

All services will be private.

In addition to her mother, Shirley Andrews, Regenia is survived by daughters, Brandy Mathis of Waco, Katherine Stewart of Cherryville; sons, Rusty Mathis and Danielle Bowers, Michael Mathis and wife Angela; sisters, Linda Hobbs, Carolyn Skidmore; brothers, Dean and Danny Andrews; grandchildren, Mikey Mathis, Heaven Mathis, Matthew Blakley, Brittany Blakley, Breyanna Mathis, Alyssa Mathis, Arianna Mathis, Charlie Grace Mathis, Katelyn Hastings, Madisyn Hastings; great-grandchild, Courtlynn Grace McWaters.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Jay Mathis; brothers, Wayne, Gene and Keith Andrews, Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
