Rebecca Machicek

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca Ann Machicek, who left this world peacefully on January 12, 2026. Born on February 26, 1957, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Rebecca was a beloved wife, aunt, sister, and friend, known for her warmth, kindness, and passionate spirit.

Rebecca spent her life as a dedicated homemaker, pouring her love into her family, her dogs, and her cherished hobbies. She had a special love for watching movies and enjoyed many sunny days on the beach. Her adventurous spirit took her on numerous travels, where she created many beautiful memories.

She is survived by her loving husband, Leroy Machicek; brother, Kenneth Phillips; sister in law, Elisa Phillips; niece, Camelia Hill; nephew, Kenny Phillips, all who will carry on her legacy of love and joy. Rebecca was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, and her laughter and warmth will be sorely missed.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Phillips and Joann Moose; brothers, Terry Phillips and Randy Phillips.

In honor of her remarkable life, a private service will be held by the family.
