Rebecca "Becky" Johnson Wright, 86, of Bessemer City, passed away peacefully May 9, 2024, at The Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

She was born January 17, 1938, in Cleveland County, daughter of the late JL Johnson and Ethel Owens Johnson.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, May 13, 2024, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor John Harper.

The family will receive friends 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

The burial will be at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.

Becky is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, James Wright; her daughter, Cindy Wright; grandchildren, Jamie Wright and Jackson Wright; two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her son, Tim Wright; sister, Judy Dennis; nephew, Vincent Holland.

The West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is serving the Wright family.
