Rebecca Spearman Gordon

Rebecca "Becky" Spearman Gordon, 75, passed away at her home in Gastonia, North Carolina, on March 15, 2025, after enduring numerous health challenges for many years.

Born on May 21, 1949, in Gastonia, Becky was the daughter of the late Daniel "Dan" and Mary Braswell Spearman. She grew up surrounded by love and family, forming deep bonds that remained central to her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Daniel "Robby" Spearman and James "Jimmy" Spearman.

Becky was a kind, caring, and loving woman with a gentle spirit that touched all who knew her. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Randy Alan Gordon of Gastonia, North Carolina. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished moments.

She was a proud mother to her daughters, Pamela Falls Osborne (Scott) of Shelby, North Carolina, Jennie Falls Cogswell (Gary) of Denver, North Carolina, and Kristi Falls McCrary of Asheville, North Carolina. She also embraced her role as a stepmother, to Tonya Gordon Davis (Matt) of Rome, Georgia, and Shannan Gordon Blair (Todd) of Flat Rock, North Carolina. Becky's love extended to her sister, Malia Spearman Beaver of Gastonia, North Carolina.

Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She treasured every moment spent with them and found great happiness in their laughter and accomplishments.

Though she faced many hardships in recent years, Becky remained steadfast in her faith and longed to be reunited with her parents and brothers. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.
