Rebecca Dean Faries, 77, of Dallas, NC, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Novant Presbyterian Charlotte.
A native of Gaston County, she was born August 19, 1946, to the late David and Effie Grigg.
In addition to her parents, Rebecca was also preceded in death by her daughter, Ronda G. Faries; sisters, Patricia Gragg, and Linda Cole.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Billy D. Faries; daughter, Deanie F. Harkey, and husband Brody L. Harkey; son, Rodney D. Faries, and wife Gina Faries; three grandchildren, Daniel D. Harkey, William C. Harkey, Hannah B. Faries; one great-grandchild, Colton A. Harkey.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023, 2:30 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC. Visitation will be from 1:30 – 2:30 prior to the service at the funeral home.
