Raymond Joseph Stowers

Raymond Joseph Stowers, 65, of Dallas, NC passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

He was born in Anchorage, Alaska on August 16, 1957, to the late Andrew and Virginia Stowers.

Raymond served in the US Army and US Navy for twelve years. In previous years he loved working with the employees of Gaston Skills. He enjoyed shopping.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Andrew Stowers; grandson, Elijah Stowers.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Sherri Stowers; sons, Jason Stowers, John Stowers (Hannah); brother, Michael David Stowers; sister, Cindy Standridge (Raymond); grandchildren, Tyler Beavers, Erica Stowers, Eliza Stowers, Oakley Stowers; great-grandchild, Jayden Tate; and caregiver, Maileyana Kirksey.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC 28052 from 5 – 7 PM, with military honors at 6 PM.
