Raymond "Ray" Peter Gaeto

Raymond "Ray" Peter Gaeto, 70, of Gastonia, passed away March 7, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

He was born December 29, 1946 in Wayne, NJ, the son of the late John Anthony Gaeto and Josephine Andolina Gaeto.

Ray was a wonderful father and grandfather.  He was a state champion bowler and enjoyed playing golf.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Jennifer Gaeto Wooten and husband Chris and his grandson Jeffrey, who became his number one the minute he was born and brothers Joseph Gaeto and John Gaeto, Jr and special niece and caregiver Shelley Hartness.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Tomberlin Gaeto.

A visitation celebrating his life will be held 3:30 – 5:30 pm Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
