Ray'Lynd Za'Mir Braxton Armstrong

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray'Lynd Za'Mir Braxton Armstrong, who left us far too soon on August 9, 2026. Born on June 19, 2026, in Lincoln County, North Carolina, Ray'Lynd was an extraordinary little boy whose bright spirit touched all who knew him. He was a great kid - smart beyond his years, sweet, kind, and full of love. With his stunning blue eyes and infectious smile, he had an incredible ability to light up a room and put a smile on your face, no matter what challenges you were facing. He was the happiest baby to know and his tiny feet left everlasting love for everyone who met him.

Ray'Lynd is lovingly remembered by his dedicated father, Larry Armstrong, and his caring mother, Mikaela Goodson. The bond they shared was a beautiful testament to the love and joy Ray'Lynd brought into their lives. Also left to cherish his memories are his grandparents, Chassidy Howard, Robert Goodson, and Charlene Friday; great grandparents, Karen Goodson, Chuck Howard, Delores and Bill Coleman; great-great-grandmother, Sue Chandler; uncles, Dalton Goodson, Damien Howard, Jeffery A. Lindsay, Christopher Lindsay; aunt, Latoya Gillespi; great-uncle, Jeffery Scott Emory; and many loving cousins.

We will gather together to celebrate Ray'Lynd's impactful life at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Grace Baptist Church, Gastonia.

Though his time was brief, Ray'Lynd will forever remain in our hearts. His sweet spirit and loving nature will be cherished and missed more than words can express.
