Ray Harris

Ray Harris, 58, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Robin Johnson House, Dallas, NC.

He was born July 5, 1963, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Daniel Ray Harris and Lorene Hughes Harris.

Ray was of the Baptist faith. He loved his family, his dog, Thunder, and to fish.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Florence "Cookie" Harris; brothers, Daryl and Charles Harris; and grandparents, Christine Whitworth, and Frank Hughes.

Ray is survived by his sons, Daniel Harris, and Ray Harris; daughter, Nicole Harris; brother, Jeffrey Harris (Hope); 6 grandchildren; and aunt, Gail Brown.

Family will receive friends 3-5pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
