Randy Joe Rush, Sr.

Randy Joe Rush Sr. (Joe) 71, of Stanley NC, passed away Friday April 7, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia NC.

He was born March 09, 1952 in Gaston County. Joe was one of three sons to the late James and Pauline Rush.

He was a sign maker by trade, a Vietnam Veteran, and family man above all. He cherished the time spent with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bill Rush, his wife Dollie Rush, and step-daughter Sharon Sheets.

Joe is survived by his son Randy Joe Rush Jr, his wife Julianna Rush and their children Ayrton, Alianna, and Adelaide; another son Steven Wilson and his wife Olivia Wilson and their son Alec; step daughter Crystal Goyette and her children Christopher Goyette and his wife Caitlin and their son Alex, daughters Christina and Cristen; sister Tracy Rush; brother Andy Rush, his wife Linda and their daughters Kim and Diane; other grandchildren Ashley Moyers and James Cline.

The family plans to have a celebration of life that will be determined at a later date.
