Randy Ray Ross

Randy Ray Ross,50, of Gaffney, SC, passed away on December 12, 2020, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 27, 1970, in Augusta, GA, son of Eloise Lovett Ross and the late Edward Ross.

Randy was a member of Love Valley Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, where he served as a sound technician and emergency paramedic.  He loved the Lord and enjoyed helping people, both physically and spiritually. He was a ham radio operator (KI4ZJI). He enjoyed IT and received a bachelor's degree in theology.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Love Valley Baptist Church 2032 Bethlehem Rd. Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Barry Philbeck, Pastor Michael Lindsay, Pastor Barry Goodman.

Randy will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be at Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery in Elgin, SC.

In addition to his mother, Eloise Ross, Randy is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Kellie Hamrick Ross; son, Benjamin Ross; daughter, Laurel Ross; brother, Erwin Ross (Kristy).

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Eric Ross.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Love Valley Baptist Church 2032 Bethlehem Rd. Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
