Randy Nelson Christopher, age 77, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 11, 2026. He was born on December 19, 1948, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, faith, and devotion to his family.

Randy was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was married to his wonderful wife, Kathryn Payne Christopher, for 56 beautiful years. Their love and commitment to one another were a true testament to faithfulness, devotion, and a lifetime spent together.

Randy's greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his son, Jason Christopher and his wife Casey Christopher, and his daughter, Katie Elliott and her husband Ryan Elliott. He was a proud grandfather to Payton Christopher and his wife Tina Christopher, Avery Duncan and her husband Preston Duncan, and Sailor Christopher. He was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Jaxon Christopher, Kinley Christopher, Nolan Duncan, and Audie Christopher, who brought him endless happiness and filled his heart with pride.

Randy was a hardworking and dedicated man who took great pride in his career. He was the owner and founder of The Detail Shop, where he served his community for 35 years. Through his work, he built lasting relationships and was known for his commitment, craftsmanship, and the care he put into everything he did.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Viola Christopher and Ken Christopher. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Christopher, Leon Christopher, and Larry Christopher, and his sister, Wilma Bouldin. He is survived by his sister, Jan Ashford, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Randy was a man who loved Jesus with his entire heart. His faith was the foundation of his life, and his family finds comfort knowing that he is now in the presence of his Savior and has received the promise of eternal life in Heaven.

He enjoyed carp fishing, working on cars, spending time with his family, and making people laugh. Randy had a special gift for bringing joy into every room and making those around him feel loved and valued. His laughter, kindness, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Although our hearts grieve his passing, we celebrate the incredible life Randy lived and the legacy of love, faith, hard work, and joy he leaves behind. His memory will continue to live on through his family, his work, and all the lives he touched.

A funeral service honoring Randy's life will be held at Yorkwood Church of God on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, with the funeral service immediately following from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather together to celebrate Randy's life and the faith that carried him home.

Until we meet again, Randy - rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.
