Phyllis Johnson Griffie

Phyllis Johnson Griffie, 78, a native of Gaston Co, NC, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, at her residence.

She was born December 7, 1943, daughter to the late Carl and Sally Reese Johnson.

Phyllis was a great mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was blessed with many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Todd Griffie; and several brothers, and sisters.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Scott Griffie and wife, Susan; daughter, Tracy Allman; brother, Robert Johnson; sisters, Pat Elmore, and Brenda Mode; grandchildren, Dale Warlick, and Christopher Griffie; and great-grandchild, Ethan Warlick.

A memorial service will be held 11am, Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Grace Baptist Church - 2200 Auten Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054.
