Phyllis Pearson Gillelan

Phyllis Pearson Gillelan, age 68, passed away on December 25, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was a retired employee for Gaston County Schools, she enjoyed listening to music, making crafts and spending time outside. Most of her time was enjoying being with her family and cooking for those who would come over to the house.

She was a native of Gaston County and preceded in death by her father: Carl Pearson, grandson Luke Alexander Long. Brother Kevin Pearson and sister Connie Pearson

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Eddie Gillelan, Daughters Amanda Long and Amy Gillelan, and Son Matthew Gillelan, Mother Gladys Pearson, Brother Richard Pearson, and Eight Grandchildren and one Great Grandson

A Celebration of Life will be held, Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Bradley Church, Gastonia at 3 pm.
