Phyllis Foster

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Phyllis Kay Jones Foster, who left us peacefully on December 29, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on September 9, 1949, in Cherokee County, North Carolina, Phyllis spent her life in Kings Mountain, where she touched the hearts of many.

Phyllis was a talented seamstress, working in the sewing manufacturing industry, where she crafted beautiful pieces that showcased her creativity and skill. Her love for crafting extended beyond sewing-she enjoyed doing puzzles and bringing her family together for moments of joy and laughter.

A member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, Phyllis found strength and community in her faith. She cherished her family deeply and made sure they always felt loved and supported.

Left to cherish her memories are sister, Theresa Tate (Gerald) and Glenda Ware Franklin (Terrell); sister in law, Diane Jones; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; her beloved fur baby, Gidget.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Foster; parents, Floyd and Dorothy Jones; brothers, Buddy Jones and Lawrance Jones.

Phyllis's services will be private, honoring her wishes for a simple remembrance. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever be woven into the fabric of our lives.

Rest in peace, Phyllis. You will be missed more than words can say.
