Phyllis Faulkner Abee Hamrick

Phyllis Faulkner Abee Hamrick, 78, of Gastonia, departed this life January 11, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1936 a native of Gaston County the daughter of the late Jack and Myrtle Faulkner. Phyllis is survived by her children, Cynthia Reagan, Tony L. Abee, Nancy Abee, Patricia Abee Propst, Bobby D. Abee, Jr. and Steven Hamrick; brother, Ronnie Faulkner, Sr.; sister, Gilda Rice and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby "Dean" Abee, Sr.; second husband, Otis Hamrick and her son, Scott Abee. The family will receive friends 4 - 6 pm Wednesday at the home. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
