Pheabie Meredith

Pheabie Stillwell Meredith, 78, of Clover went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

She was born on December 24, 1942 in Polk County, TN, to the late James Stillwell and Maggie Carringer Stillwell.

Pheabie was a lifelong founding member of Charity Independent Baptist Church in Gastonia.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Lesia Melton; brother, Ronnie Stillwell; and sister, Barbara Bowman.

Left to cherish Pheabie's memories are her loving husband, Steve "Don" Meredith; children, Barbara King, Greg Melton, Tosha Haney, Jamie Meredith, Ashley Plemmons (Zach), and Amber-Leigh Richmond; brothers, Glenn Stillwell (Myra), and Roger Stillwell; grandchildren, Chris Campbell, Gregory Melton Jr., Tyson and Kayleigh Haney, Jaxson and Tucker Plemmons, and Braylen Moss.

A funeral service for Mrs. Meredith officiated by Pastor Zach Plemmons  and Pastor Ronnie Pressley will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Charity Independent Baptist Church- 2425 Hillmont St, Gastonia, NC 28052 Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
