William "Peewee" Odell Crane Jr

William "Peewee" Odell Crane Jr., of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 52.

Peewee was born in Hickory, North Carolina, on August 13, 1974, to Dianne and Odell Crane. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.R. and Mary Bryant; his sister, Elizabeth Angela Morton; and his brother, Ricky Eugene Crane.

He leaves behind his mother and stepfather, Dianne and Kenneth Bridges; his brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Tonia Crane; his nieces, Kylie and Skyler Crane; and his beloved dog, Winchester.

For those who knew Peewee, they know that he lived his life to the fullest. He did things his way, whether they were easier or not. He loved his family and friends with all that he had, and he was loved by all those who knew him.

A funeral service will be held Noon, Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia. The family will receive friends from 11am-12 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. The entombment will be at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.

May we all take this example from him and live our lives to the fullest.

Peewee will be remembered for the life he lived, the love he gave, and the memories he leaves behind with those who knew and loved him.
