Pearl Jeanette Lunsford

Pearl Jeanette Herms Lunsford, 95, of Dallas, North Carolina, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

A native of Gaston County, she was born July 22, 1929, to the late William and Molly Cloninger Herms.

Pearl was a faithful member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Dallas, NC. She worked in textiles and at W.C. Friday school as a custodian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lunsford; sons, Thomas Leming and James Leming; daughter, Sharon Jeanette Lunsford; six brothers and two sisters.

Pearl is survived by her son Joseph Leming (Donna); stepson, Jackie Lunsford (Susan); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, 11:00 am, at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Lawrence Reeves officiating.

The family wished to thank the caregivers and staff of Peak Resources of Cherryville and hospice of Cleveland County for their loving care.
