Pearl Betty Ivey

Gastonia, NC Pearl Betty Ivey, 83, passed away September 30, 2013, at Country Time Inn Assisted Living, Kings Mountain, NC. She was born June 14, 1930 in Madison County, NC, daughter of the late Robert and Reda Grooms Ballow. A funeral service will be held 2 pm on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends 1 - 1:45 pm prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery following the service. She is survived by: sons, David Mason, Sanford Butler and his wife, Maye of Earlington, KY, Danny Lee Mason of Kings Mountain; daughter Julie Sisk of Gastonia; sister, Janie Lee of Canton, NC; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her son, Wayne Blake; granddaughter, Hailey Wisely.
