Pauline Tate Pasour

Pauline Tate Pasour, 87, of Bessemer City, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

She was born on November 21, 1934, in Bessemer City, daughter of the late Fletcher and Mina Holland Tate.

A Celebration of the life of Pauline Pasour will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Antioch Lutheran Church, 330 Old 277 Loop Road in Dallas, NC 28034. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm. The service will follow the receiving of friends at 3 pm. Internment will be held at Antioch Lutheran Church Cemetery following the service.

Mrs. Pasour was a long-time member of Antioch Lutheran Church.

She was a teacher assistant for 27 years at Carr Elementary.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Cooke (Robbie); grandchildren, Jonathan Childers (Gretchen), Katie Gilbert (Steve), Lee Pasour; great-grandchildren Kendall Pasour, Cora Gilbert; sisters-in-law, Ruth Pasour Schrum, Louise Pasour Grigg and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Paul Pasour; sons, Aaron and Richard Pasour; brothers, Fletcher, Frank and Lawrence Tate; sisters, Cora Rayfield, Alma Bridges, Inez Bridges.
