Pauline Christopher Farris

Pauline Christopher Farris, 83, of Gastonia, passed away May 26, 2012, at Peak Resources, Gastonia. She was born April 29, 1929, in Gaston County, daughter of the late John Everett Christopher and Vesta Belk Young. Mrs. Farris was a member of Flint Groves Baptist Church in Gastonia. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Chaplain Carl Synan. The family will receive friends from 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia. She is survived by: her husband, Hunter Farris of Gastonia; daughter, Elaine Skinner of Rocky Mount, NC; son, Ricky Cruber of Kings Mountain; brothers, Edward Christopher of Charlotte, Glen Christopher of Brementon, WA; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
