Paula Jo Smith

Paula Jo Smith, 64, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born February 2, 1957, in Lexington, NC, daughter of the late Paul James Smith and Hilda Joyce Smith Lovell.

Paula was a former employee for over 30 years at Lexington Furniture, and she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy "Chad" Barr; brother, Jimmy Smith; sister, Tammy Ray; and grandchildren, Adrian Trey Barr, and Hunter Caleb Barr.

A memorial service officiated by Rev. Sam Barnette, will be held 6pm on Monday, January 3, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
