Paula Pressley Bridges

Paula Pressley Bridges, 69, of Bessemer City, passed away October 28, 2023, at her home.

She was born September 14, 1954, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Paul Herbert Pressley Sr. and Margaret Aleta Whistnant Pressley.

Paula was a member of Ragan Wesleyan Church in Gastonia.

A service to celebrate Paula's life will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Ragan Wesleyan Church 535 Oates Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor John Harper and Pastor Ronnie Pressley.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church on Sunday.

Paula is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ben Bridges; son, Ben Bridges; daughters, Shanna Riley, Aleta Bridges Ellison, Breann Bridges; brother, Pastor Ronnie Pressley (Betty); grandchildren, Stephen Naylor, Leland Bridges, Zachary Bridges, Jackson Thomas, Greyson Thomas.

In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Herbert Pressley Jr.; and her granddaughter, Addison Lanham.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service located at 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia.
