Paul "Pj" Wentz Jr.

Paul "PJ" Wentz Jr. 59, of Gastonia, passed away January 6, 2019 at Somerset Court of Cherryville.
He was born September 8, 1959, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Paul Edgar Wentz Sr. and Letha Ann Farmer Wentz.
PJ is survived by his son, Paul Edgar Wentz III; daughter, Cayla Long and husband Lucas; sisters, Leah Helderman, Belinda Young and husband Kenny, and Paulette Atkins and husband Richard; grandchildren, Trever and Tucker Long; former wife, Tammy Cobb Godwin and husband George; former sisters-in-law, Jody Cobb Ghorley and husband Todd, Stacy Cobb Barber and husband Brian and Samantha Cobb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Gullion.
A memorial service will be held 4 pm Monday, January 14, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1017 Bethlehem Road, Kings Mountain.
