Paul L. Smith

Paul L. Smith, 62, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Atrium Health, Cleveland.

He was born August 12, 1959, in Davidson Co, MI, son of the late Fred Smith and Wilma Josephine Garvey.

Paul worked for 28 years at Daimler.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Josh Smith.

Paul is survived by his wife, Trish Smith; sons, Jason Smith and wife, Elise, and Brad Smith and wife, Danielle; and 6 grandchildren, Austin Abee, Braxton Smith, Grayson Smith, Walker Smith, Raven Smith, and Mackenzie Smith.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Johnny Yarboro, will be held 2pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. Burial will he held at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.

Family will receive friends 6-8pm the night before at the funeral home.
