Paul Glenn Sanders

Paul Glenn Sanders, 79, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, at his residence.

He was born June 20, 1943, a native of Gaston Co, NC, son of the late William Roby and Mae Faulkner Sanders.

Paul was a member of South Marietta Street Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband , a loving father, and he cherished his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, yard work, and working on cars. He retired from Greene Funeral Service with many years of service and a dedication and love to help families in need.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers, and sisters.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ann Sanders; son, Paul Sanders, Jr. (Christina); daughter, Tammy Travis (Anthony); brothers, Bill Sanders, and Mitchell Sanders; sister, Darlene Hoyle (Jim); grandchildren, Amanda Sanders, and Emily Sanders; and special friend, Dean Putnam.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Tommy Self, will be held 12:30pm, Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends 11am-12pm, at the funeral home.
